Casting Mold Generator for 3D printing
Upload a watertight master model and generate an open or two-part mold. Configure parting, clearance, keys, sprue, and vents, then inspect and export the mold parts.
What you can do
- Open and split mold modes
- Configurable clearance and shell
- Registration keys, sprue, and vents
- Cutaway preview and part export
Input and result
Input: STL, OBJ, 3MF. Result: STL, OBJ, 3MF. The browser first loads the workspace and 3D engine, then builds or imports the model; a progress message remains visible while this work is running.
Before export
- The source mesh must be closed and suitable for the selected parting plane.
- Re-entrant geometry may prevent demolding.
- Always review casting-material safety requirements.
Review the model from several angles, confirm its physical dimensions and the selected material settings, and save a working copy when the source must remain unchanged. Complex models can take longer to process on mobile devices.
Source data processing
Mold generation uses the uploaded master in the editor. Project saving and selected processing functions may send data to Maker services.
